HDpiano was using a stock WordPress theme that became bloated by numerous changes done without having a plan. The site was dependent on many plugins and with the growing base of members the whole application was starting to perform badly and maintenance became a nightmare.
Every new update was a threat to website functionality. I started to work with HDpiano 2 years ago when my mission was to fix a few bugs caused by previous development and keep everything running smoothly.
We solved all the hosting issues when we decided to move on WPengine and all that was left to do was to find a way to get rid of some of the plugins while we are keeping the site functionalities unaffected.
We choose to rebuild the website from scratch using WordPress as a CMS and WooCommerce. We planned to get rid of all plugins and develop custom functionalities as per our particular needs.
We launched the website with a minimum feature roll and it was a success. One year after this new website relaunch we are looking on the stats and we are proud to notice the month to month increase in revenue and a growing member base while the performance is maintained top standing.
It’s a long process ahead and we have a huge backlog of features to develop, test, launch and measure.
- Design to WordPress theme
- WooCommerce integration
- Stripe payment integration
- WooCommerce subscriptions integration
- Database optimisation
- Ongoing Maintenance
